I have to begin by saying that romance is not really my thing – I don’t usually read it, nor do I gravitate towards this particular genre. This book was pretty good, just not for me. Having said that, the writing is beautiful and it was quite hard for me to put down. I finished the entire book on ONE lazy Sunday, which is saying something!
I loved the relationships within the family, and could very much connect with it. I would definitely pickup another book by this author if romance was not front and center. If those are the kinds of books you enjoy, then definitely give this a go… I promise, you won’t regret it!
