Book Summary

In hopes of escaping her current situation, she takes up an offer from her police chief sister to come back to their small hometown to help with a little girl who seems to have appeared from captivity in the forest. This book takes us through how Julia faces the challenges to try and understand what happened to this little girl and what she does along with the other people in this small town to help her.
My thoughts on Magic Hour
I’ve always enjoyed Kristin Hannah’s writing and Magic Hour was no different. This book was emotional, intriguing and had an element of mystery to it. The characters are all flawed in someway, yet real and you find yourself rooting for them. The story pulls at your heart strings and keep you engaged until the very end.
Kristin Hannah’s stories are almost always sad but often end with ray of hope and Magic Hope definitely gives you that. I’d recommend picking up this book on a quiet weekend when you can immerse yourself in the lives of these characters. I know for sure that I’ll be thinking of them for some time to come.
